How it works
What happens after you request a free remodeling estimate
Every free remodeling estimate starts with a conversation, not a sales pitch. Nova Nest is a family owned remodeling contractor serving Lake County and the northern Chicago suburbs since 2001, and the owners stay involved from the first call through the final walkthrough.
We visit your home, measure carefully, and talk through what is not working today. That way the estimate you receive reflects your actual space, your priorities, and the decisions that affect daily life, instead of a generic price per square foot.
Free on-site consultation
We meet you at your home, look at existing conditions, take measurements, and talk through layout, materials, and priorities.
Detailed written estimate
You receive a clear written estimate with the scope of work, material direction, and the next steps to move forward.
Clear from day one
What your free remodeling estimate includes
A good estimate answers questions before construction begins. Your written estimate from Nova Nest is built around the visit to your home and covers the details that shape cost, schedule, and the finished result.
- Detailed scope of work
- Material and finish direction
- Layout and planning notes
- Projected schedule
- Permit and trade coordination
- Clear next steps
If something in your home needs attention first, such as moisture in a basement, outdated wiring, or a layout that limits what is possible, we explain it during the consultation so there are no surprises later.
